CREATIVE MEDICINE COLLECTIVE
We invite you to join our collective!
Our membership requirements: You must be a Professional Woman in the Holistic Health and/or CAM (Complimentary Alternative Medicine) therapies with at least two years of professional practice, in and around the Bay Area. You must also be in good standing in your field (e.g. hold a valid license, certification, malpractice insurance, renewals, that are required of your profession.)
Our monthly meetings are experiential, informational and transformational and may include: understanding current trends in the field of alternative health, developing new marketing strategies, learning about the healing potential of aromatherapy, expressing oneself with movement, deepening one's meditation practice, networking, laughing, and reminding one another to practice our own self-care.
We begin each meeting with a meditation, self-introduction (which can include a short pitch about one’s practice/experience) and then partake in a presentation by one of our members/or guest speaker. On a rotating basis, each member will have a unique opportunity (as part of one’s membership) to present a topic in their field to our collective in a 30 minute – talk, demo, experiential presentation..…a way of showcasing one’s work, method, practice; helping us to learn more about you as a practitioner. A member may also choose to substitute their talk/demo with a guest speaker, presenting on a topic of interest (e. g. financial planning, practice building, social media, etc. )
Members are required to initially attend three consecutive meetings and will be voted-in, according to our by-laws. Once voted in, as a part of membership, members are asked to participate in at least 9 of our 12 monthly meetings per year.
Our members are experienced practitioners; Licensed Therapists, CMT Body workers, Aromatherapists, Authentic Movement Teachers, Yoga Therapists, Addiction Specialists, Marketing specialists and more.
Volunteer officers rotate on a yearly basis as part of our Collective experience and help provide support and guidance to our collective.
You are welcome to donate time to our collective! Let us know!
We are building a holistic community and unlike other professional groups, consistent participation is what makes us unique.
Membership also includes a CMC Calendar highlighting upcoming meetings & monthly presentations, professional practice listing, networking opportunities and light refreshments.
Each year we will schedule two informal biannual events that members are invited to attend!
Dues for membership are $45.00 and paid on a yearly basis.

Our meetings are held the third Friday of each month from 11 – 12:30 p.m. at
412 Red Hill Avenue, Suite 2 (Essex Center), San Anselmo, California.
